Back to the grind

It feels great to be back to my husband and my dogs but the office, not so much! I have tons of work piled up but it was worth it. So was all the food I ate!

Sometimes you just have to enjoy the chance to indulge a little. I was at a conference and food was astonishing and everywhere. I had caramelized onion and roast beef sliders, pork carnitas, mini cobb salads in martini glasses, chocolate fondue. I stayed away from the junk I could get anywhere and chose to eat the really unique things you don't see everyday. Plus I walked so much I had to soak my feet!

I didn't weigh in this morning but I will tomorrow and asess the damage. Then I will get right back on track as I promised myself I would. I'm not waiting until Monday :)

  1. Sounds like what you did was exactly right...enjoy the unique foods, leave the same-old junk, and get back to the diet when you come back - congratulations, I do believe you are living every dieter's dream!

Glad you had such a good time!

  2. Don't sweat the weigh-in. You know the difference of eating like that for special occasions versus every day of your life. That puts you in a really good place to get back on the wagon. Glad you had a good time.

  3. Great plan to get back on track and way to indulge with the unique stuff. :)

  4. That sounds like an amazing time! I agree, enjoy the unique stuff and not the same ol' crap. Glad you enjoyed yourself :)

  5. Hey I really like your Blog and what you stand for, I started construction on a site
