Back in the groove

Okay it's time to get back in the groove again. I fell off the wagon so hard this weekend my whole body hurts. It's time to face the fact that I'm not young anymore and I cannot drink for 10 hours and expect to live to see the next day. I had a blast though. I was very ill for the 4 hour drive home and I'm not going to go into any more detail about that. Let's just say I'm thankful for having such a sweet and caring husband who got me through it.

My mom is coming to visit tomorrow so I'm taking the day off. I have so much to do around the house that I'm going to try to use my vacuuming and remaining yard work to get my exercise in until I can get back to the gym on Wednesday. I really miss it!!

Have a great week everyone!

  2. Hi,

You are nearly as heavy as me when I started on my quest to lose weight last year. Stay on the case and most importantly, you must want to lose that weight.I went from 240 lbs to 130 lbs. It wasn't easy and a lot depended on me wanting to lose the fat, not doing it for the sake of others!
    Best of luck

    Mary

  3. Barfing makes the heart grow fonder, doesn't it? Ah well, the occasional pub crawl never hurt anyone except as we get older the crawling gets a lot harder. You'll be back in good form come Wednesday.

  5. I hate hangovers so I stopped drinking a long time ago!! We are almost at the same weight, it would be nice to track progress. I have lost 40 lbs since January 1.

  6. Sounds as if we were at the same place, doing the same thing on Sat. Our day of debauchery sounds eerily similar. However, I am one of those extremely lucky people who do not suffer from hangovers. :) AND, Lord knows I've given it every attempt. Good news is that we're back on track today. I felt guilty for a little while, but then decided to get my butt in gear. Race you to 150!!!!

  7. Geez, were you at the same place I was on Sat??? Sounds like our day of debauchery was about the same. :) However, I am one of the blessed few who do not get hangovers....and believe me, I have tried. We're back at it again now, tho' and that's what's important.
