It moved

The scale. Finally. Moved.

Longest plateau ever.

I have seen 233.4 on the scale every day since before Christmas. 231.2 this morning. I could have jumped for joy. Long may it continue.

Tonight is yoga and tomorrow morning I'm trying my trainers class that's a combination of weight training and pilates . I'm really excited about it but it's going to be tough. I've seen so much progress in the few weeks I've been training with her. (Shout out to Karen - you are amazing!)

Oh and yesterday I jumped rope. 60 times. Haven't done that since the 1970s!!

  1. Thats awesome!!!!!!!!!

I am most proud that you are sticking to it after such a long plateau. Seriously, that is amazing.

  2. YAY!!!! Glad you toppled over that wall that was in your way. Keep it up!

  3. Woo Hoo!!! May I say how awesome you are at maintaining now? lol I'm glad the scale finally moved downward...awesome. :) And I'm glad you're enjoying working out with the trainer. I would have one if I could afford one....God knows I need to be pushed. With that said, I've committed to doing a Half Marathon (walking it) in Savannah in November. Let me know if you're interested. :)

  4. Congratulations, my friend! Gotta be one of the sweetest losses ever. Let's hot yoga soon. :)

PS - I knew you wouldn't like PastaQueen either!!

  5. Awesome! I know how frustrating it is when the scale doesn't move.

  6. WOO HOO!! I am so happy you didn't give up and worked through the plateau. High Five!!

  7. Wow - you are one determined lady - and congratulations on your mental strength. Being on that plataeu for that length of time would have melted my head.

And congrats on skipping. Now that is a surprisingly hard form of exercise! Take care...

  8. So happy for you, Tina - I know that plateau pain and frustration...major kudos for sticking through this!

Nice going with the jump rope, too. :)
