It's a crazy day here in the South gearing up for a really big winter storm.
We just got back from the grocery store (along with everyone else in the state) and got the supplies to make white chicken chili along with a loaf of Natures Own Double Fiber wheat bread. We're set!! We lose power so often in these situations and I didn't want to take the risk of not having anything we can heat up on the grill.
Things are going REALLY well over here. I'm happier than I've been in a while which I attribute to my fabulous friends and family, yoga and lots of paying work. I'm back to my pre-Christmas weight but I still need to get some running miles in. The half marathon is coming up quick and I'm still not going much further than a 5k.
Hoping everyone is doing well!
Oh, man! I'm glad I read this! I wouldn't have known about the crazy weather we're going to get! =)
ReplyDeletegood luck during the storm!!!
ReplyDeleteWe're looking at that same storm. Did a double workout today in hopes of being housebound tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear things are going so well for you! When is your half marathon...March? Yeah, it's time to start ramping up the runs. Can't wait for you to get your medal! :)
ReplyDeleteDude!! Why didn't I think of white chicken chili??? Dammit!!!
ReplyDeleteHow you guys doing down there Tina? That storm is headed my way... not looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteWe always laugh at all the people who run to the grocery to buy meat and milk. If you lose power, unless you put it outside in the snow it's going to go bad! If you put it outside, the critters get it.
Have you always loved to run? How did you start?
ReplyDeleteThat storm is heading here now. Looks like Atlanta and much of the south got its ass kicked! How nice to have a big pot of white chicken chili to keep you warm!
ReplyDeleteYou sounds great Tina. And BTW, nice job on Tammy's website!
