How much did she lose this week?

I should probably just accept the fact that this is going to happen to me once a month although all the drinking I did last night combined with the chicken fingers I ate didn't help much either! I met a friend from Art School last night who I haven't seen in 13 years. It was so much fun!

Regrets? Yes. Moving on? Double Yes!

I dropped my sweet husband off at the train this morning. I miss him already and he's not even out of Atlanta yet. He flies to Newark and then Edinburgh later on this evening. It's a long trip and I just wish I was with him.

I will be fine while he's gone. Aside from 2 Oreo truffles my neighbor made, I have nothing in the house that's dangerous. My plan is just to eat like we normally do and since I won't be able to go to the gym, I will wear my heart rate monitor on my dog walks to make sure I'm working hard enough. I might even try a little wogging outside although with the 2 of them I'm not so sure how easy that would be!!

Hope everyone is having a great week so far.

  1. Great attitudea bout weigh in. Here's hoping next week is much better.

I can't believe your gas co. story! Idiots on parade. Wonderful idea to spend quality time with your mom this weekend. I hope it is a healthy and happy weekend.

Keep strong while your hubby is gone. You can do it!

  2. It's weigh-ins like these that I sing "I enjoy being a girl" somewhat sarcastically...

Hope you have a good week w/o hubby!

  3. I had to laugh at the pic of Tampax! Aunt Flo always brings her baggage with'll see a good number next week!

  4. Yeah, it seems to be the case with most women, the one week that goes against the grain.

Hope hubby has a good trip - it is fab weather over here at the moment and I hope it holds out for him.

Try to enjoy some you time while he is away.

I went to art school too - do you still do any art?

  5. I have been trying to teach my boyfriend's dogs to run since we moved in together last month. You can't take them out very far at first; I started with a mile and a half and kept both of them on a short leash. I also would sometimes take just the more athletic one and we'd run a couple miles, come back to the house and pick up the other one, and then cruise the neighborhood for a cooldown. That might work for you if it seems like one of them is picking up running better than the other one.

  6. If attitude means anything, I think you are on the right wave length. You'll do just fine.

Quite frankly, I wish I was on the way to Scotland with your hubby, or mine. I love it there.

  7. Aunt Flo will be packing her bags by next week's weigh-in. Hang in there.

  8. I wish you were with him too. If I ever get on a plane again, I hope it is to Scotland. I hope you have a great week Tina...make it all about you!!

  9. Hey there! Newbie here. Just wanted to let you know that I enjoy your blog! Really helps reaffirm the day-to-day issues we all struggle with.

Totally understand your frustration about 'the week'. I'm right there with ya!

Sounds like you've got a good plan for the week. Have a great one!!

  10. You can easily loss your weight by maintaining your body. It will keep you fit all the days.

  11. Just came across your blog and wanted to wish you the best of luck - sounds like you are doing great and have a great attitude!
